twitchexrs replied to your post âOkay but can you imagine the Black cousins in Prisoner of Azkaban?...â
I NEED ALL OF THIS. ALL OF IT.
Okay, so youâve got Artemis who really barely knows her fatherâs side of the family (her momâs protective and hesitant to let her visit them because of the track record of Blacks and Azkaban/blood supremacy even though she knows Ceara and the kids donât share those views), the lone Hufflepuff. They figure they donât have too much to worry about but they are curious and so their best source of information is their resident Black. And sheâs just like âI donât know. I didnât know I had cousins until the Sorting. Mostly I wanted to know about my dad.â
Youâve got Rebecca in Slytherin mostly rolling her eyes at Malfoyâs squad and their idiot antics, but not too many questions about Sirius from there but there IS suspicion from other Houses that âsomeone has to be helping Black into the castle, why wouldnât it be the Slytherin related to himâ
Meanwhile Regulus and Morrigan arenât necessarily being shunned in Gryffindor but itâs not nearly as comfortable as it had been, especially after Sirius breaks into the tower.
Ravenclaw - being slightly more rational than the other houses, donât give Alphie too much of a hard time. As heâs an older student, they also generally have a better grasp of his character but again, those outside his house and those less mature still see him as a Black thatâs smart enough to get him in without getting caught.
It gets better and worse when they start sticking together as family because on one hand, a constant support system but on the other, it looks to suspicious people like theyâre colluding to help their uncle/father
