Twisted Existence
Through this hallway I step cautiously Not knowing my place Still afraid to question this, even though I hate admitting it
I am here not because I want to be Or because I have to be, not forcefully, anyhow But because I don’t know what else to do with myself In this twisted existence
Still, still, still, There’s nothing wrong with waiting Sometimes, patience is a virtue And sometimes the twisted apples are the sweetest.
