I’m headed out of town for about a week, and I’m feeling a mix of emotions... for some reason I’m already homesick, to leave this land, my garden, my husband, my fur babies and my clay. I guess that means I finally feel a sense of place where I live, a deep connection and rootedness that maybe I never quite felt in the city? I’m already missing the smell of the sagebrush, the night hawks circling, the cold kitten fur on my face when I come home every night. I’m missing getting up to inspect each and every flower and vegetable in the garden with my pup.?I’m missing my husband’s loud laugh that I can hear through any wall or window.
