I got a little creative and crafty this holiday season for my twin flame community and put together some twin flame spell jars that can double as Christmas ornaments. "Just settle for Mr. Nice Guy." (Fun fact: a lot of self proclaimed "nice guys" really aren't that nice.) How about..... No! Don't get me wrong, safety, security, stability, compatibility, etc are all very important attributes of a relationship. However, if you have all of those things but there is no passion, no attraction, no spark, no fire..... what you have is a glorified friendship. If I wanted that, I'd honestly probably rather be roomies then with a gay male bestie. Chemistry, attraction, and passion is an absolute MUST in a relationship. It needs to be mutual for both parties that we each strongly desire one another (I'm a Scorpio rising after all). If that's not there, I refuse to settle for someone "just to be with someone." I'm more content and happy being on my own than unhappy in a connection that feels like a dead end. Whoever is my person will need to be able to keep up to run free and wild and will see that as an opportunity. Don't settle for society's standards. I feel less and less people are these days, which is a good thing. It's not uncommon for those in a twin flame dynamic to be asked, "When are you going to move on?" On the surface, that may seem the like the obvious thing to do. But deep soul connections are not black and white like that. I find there to be a link between twin flames and demisexuality. Demisexuality by definition is a sexual orientation in which a person feels sexually attracted to someone only after they've developed a close emotional bond with them. That close emotional bond is another way of saying from a spiritual stand point - soul connection. I want my twin flame friends to know it's ok if you don't want to settle for someone you're not attracted to just for the sake not being alone or fitting in to society's conditioning. It's actually healthier if you don't! It's good to be comfortable being on your own and desiring companionship, not because you need it, but because you want it. It's the frosting on top, but you are still totally the cake! This means shallow ways to connect, such as online dating will likely be a struggle for you. If something doesn't feel right, don't do it! Organic likely works well for you. This is harder to come by, but much more worth it. And if a true soulmate comes along you'd like to explore things, you will know! It may not be with your twin, and that would be society's version of "moving on." But who knows.
