The First Date || Ceodore and Alisaie
@alisaie-leveilleur
To state Ceodore was mighty nervous was quite the understatement. He had been working a great deal as a soldier and as a prince that there was little time to plan. But, with a good deal of help and a great deal of fellow comrades from his platoon pestering him and offering some less than helpful advice, Ceodore was ready to head off.
âNote for my parents and Captain, check... Present, check... The aether crystal, check... Oh! Linkpearl! Crystals, I will need that to locate Alisaie!â Ceodore sprinted to his dresser and pulled a small box out, removing the pearl and placing it on his ear, âAlright. I am set!â
The quarter Lunarian looked to where the Ascian had once appeared, offering the prince a chance to see his dear friend and beloved, and the same spot where the distortion in space was beheld. It was much easier now, as he concentrated on that spot, holding the necklace in hand, as practiced words for the Teleport came from his lips.
It was then, that Ceodore felt the expecting fall through the very space between worlds, eyes closed as he would appear in yet another random place. This time, he found himself inhaling the scent of the salty sea, opening his eyes to the very city-state of Limsa Lomisa, where there were hearts and couples about.
When he looked to his left and noted a couple dressed in salmon pink and matching hats, giving one another a familiar look as they walked to the inn, the foreign princeâs cheeks turned a rosy red. So they do celebrate a day like this in Eorzea?
Without any further ado, Ceodore gave a small cough and turned on the linkpearl and spoke, âAlisaie? Are you available at this moment?â

âAlisaie, then. Hrrmph, and just as charming as your si-- brother, I see!â
To say there was sarcasm in her words would be an understatement. Heaving a weary sigh and tapping the base of her gnarled stave to the floor, she squinted at the twin. âYes, your sibling came gallivanting through some time ago. Dragged Shtola and some errand boy-- girl--â She paused. â-- Warrior of Light with him, too.â
Again, a sigh. âYou couldâve knocked, at least. What is it, then? Spit it out!"
Alisaie was probably doing well to wonder what sheâd gotten herself into, yes.
For many a moon, a particular piece of information had been plaguing the antecedentâs mind. The return of Bahamut⌠Eorzeaâs deadliest enemy. Whilst this revelation by itself was one to cause shock and panic to anyone, regardless of their allegiance or status, the very fact that it was hidden from Minfilia herself by her most trusted of Scions was as though she took a piercing arrow directly to the heart. She had long contemplated how to approach her comrades on this matter, for withholding such delicate matters should never have been an option. The situation was far too dire to spend lurking outside of the shadows, away from the assistance of others. Yes, she would get to the bottom of this issue with the utmost haste⌠beginning with a swift Linkpearl call to the instigator of these charades, @twinalisaie. âThis is Minfilia, of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Please respond.â
Garbed in her traveling clothes, Alisaie had managed to make the trip out to Matoya's Cave. Having been advised of the entrance, the teenager wanders into the area, passing the brooms and frogs until she spies the old woman. "I...would trust that you are the Scholar Matoya?"
@twinalisaie
It was hard not to know when people were coming when the the cavernâs opening made such a godsawful sound⌠of course, that was why she had made it so, yet it was an added convenience when receiving visitors, and so she was already standing beside her table when the youth arrived.
âAh, Alphinaud! I see youâve lost the fancy duds. Suits you well, I say.â She frowned. âAlready back to finish your training, then? Good, the siderooms could do with another cleaning, andâŚâ Were Alisaie not to correct her, sheâd go on quite the lengthy rant. Now might be a good time.

Put me down!
âSorry, Alisaie. But even I can tell youâre trying not to pass out in your food. So to bed with you, miss.â
Protector, Mentor, Family
âAh, Alisaie - my thanks, sweet songbird.â
@twinalisaieâ:
Alisaie was very much put off by the sudden grabbing and running off with her person and had indeed caused a ruckus. But now that they were out of thatâŚthat odd place, and he asked his question, the Elezen could only stare as she tried to remember. âI know not how. I remember grey garments butâŚno face. âŚWhere are we? Who are you?â She asked, sounding a lot braver than she felt. Despite the girls usual nerves, the truth was, she was now 11 summers, in a place that she was certain she had never been to with what had to be a mad man that she did not know.
The bravery was appreciated. Useless, but appreciated. But she was a child, and though he might be depraved, he wasnât about to harm her. Not that he would tell her that. He found that they tended to cooperate with him if they thought harm would come. Let her believe what she would. The question was how old she was, and where she came from. If he could manage that, then there wouldnât be any issue with taking her home and having everything done with.
His attention was momentarily drawn elsewhere, a wisp appearing to grill him about his sudden disappearance. Once heâd explained, it seemed more than content to stay and see things through. A nice gesture, though he wasnât quite sure what it could do for him.
            â I am Diablos, a void creature. Currently you are in Ulâdah, the city                of commerce. I canât tell you who sent you to the void, only that                someone like that should not exist. â
