Shen laid back and continued to wrap the bandage around his arm, it was messy but it would have to do for now. He hadn’t seen what had hit him, but it’s claws had dug deeper than he wished they had. The bleeding had stopped a while ago, the blood darkening around the edges.

Shen fastened the bandage in place, some areas began to bleed through but there was nothing he could do about it for now. The man had only offered him a bandage and he dared not to ask for more than that of a stranger.

He stood up and looked at his hands, one was covered in blood while the other had a few smears here and there.

“Is there a river nearby or a well?” he called out to the man who had offered him the bandage.

Talon tilted his head as he hummed. He was not familiar with this area - indeed, he was not familiar with much of the mortal realm at all. While it had been some time since Irelia cast him from the divines down upon this terrible place, he had not bothered to learn of the people, nor of the places, around him. 

“I do not know,” he answered plainly. He took in the man’s appearance coolly. What blood stained his hands would not harm anyone, least of all the mortal himself. Besides, was it truly so terrible to simply lick away the mess...? 

“Here..” Talon sighed as he extended his hand and took the human’s hand within his own in a grip that was firm and none too gentle. It would be a simple matter indeed to simply summon some water as once he had done so many times before, but... 

...The mortal did not deserve to see his prowess realised, he reasoned. 

He leant down and licked the length of the mortal’s hand. 

Out of anyone on the Council, Irelia ventured herself the most critical of the Kinkou. It was difficult not to be as an active participant in the war they all but sidestepped for years until Ionia was brought to its knees before finally earning the expulsion of Noxians from their lands. 

So what was she doing here, then, in the company of the Eye of Twilight?

The same it always was wherever the Captain was concerned: business.

“It’s come to my attention that you and your brother are on speaking terms once again,” Irelia noted under the aroma of tea. The reason necessitated no introduction. Frankly Irelia preferred to avoid summoning his name at all to think it the same as an omen of bad luck.
