NEO Akira, Makoto, and Kanon

Akira looks a lot fancier and more professional in account of taking his work and obligations to his family more seriously. Makoto is also starting college soon like Rin and Mayu, and he's trying to look more prim and classy. He's mostly doing it to try and mirror Akira or imitate him with the budget he has. Personality and role-wise, Kanon is a lot different. She's not an antagonistic force like she used to be during the Limbo period. Granted, she and most of everyone else involved minus Neku and Joshua don't remember what happened. I imagine she brightened up her colors to better match with Coco, who she is friends with. I had a lot of fun drawing her and her outfit. I really wanted to go ham with the bows and frills and lace. I like adding those into my art when it fits and when I can. She views Penerope as her senior and "senpai" compared to before, and she looks up to her. She does still use her scythe though. That's a non-negotiable.  Akira and Makoto's relationships are both strained with Penerope post-Neku's death. Due to their lack of relationship and view with it compared to her, they didn't take it as seriously. Penerope did not respond to this well, and had a rough fight with the both of them. Akira does still try to talk to Penerope (she ignores them) and they fight whenever they see each other. Makoto does still try to talk to her if she's out in public (mainly when she's running errands) though it ends up being one-sided. It... will take a lot of work to repair either of those bridges.
