Jesus’ trailer in TWD (TV)
Screen shots of his trailer in the show that he gives to Maggie and Sasha to sleep in. With emphasis on set dressing and details for those who like to include them in fic and art. (because I can)
First off: How do we know this is his trailer specifically? Because that’s his coat hanging up next to the door on the left.
Other details in this shot: The bookcase on the otherside of the door, the stack of books next to the kitchenette. The small camp stove and dish rack above it. Part of the hook hanger along the back wall near the head of the bed being used for pot storage (closer to the kitchen) and part of it for stuff like his bandanas (over the bed). They have enough electricity being generated that he can turn on two lamps, but he also has a non-electric lamp next to his bed. There’s a jewelry box/small item storage next to the lamp in the foreground.
This shot gives a better look at his bed area and the baskets he keeps his clothes in. Along the wall opposite the door, he has another hook rack with a pair of jeans and what looks like the shirt he ends up wearing the next day hanging up. He likely sets clothes out for the next day this way for quick easy changes. Down near the base of the kitchenette, we can see yet more books. And ned to the bed, presumably the book he’s currently ready. Also, he has what looks like two baskets at the base of his bed for clothes storage. One of which he takes with him when he leaves to stay in Barrington House.
On the back wall of the main living space is one of the Barrington House directory signs being used as wall art. You can’t see it in this picture, but next to Sasha, on the floor, is another stack of books. If you re-watch the scene, you can catch sight of them as they pan over to Sasha making up the couch.
Next to the couch on the far wall is the door to the bathroom! He has his own bathroom! Yay! He also has another bookshelf with YET MORE BOOKS. And a second small window opposite the ‘front’ window (the one next to the door).
On the outside of the trailer we can see the AC hook up, and on the roof a small solar panel (for that electricity we saw getting used). The trailer behind him has a much larger set of panels and probably helps power other trailers that can’t create quite enough for their own uses. He also has a small wood porch and stairs with a railing.
And, obviously, his trailer is in a pretty prime position that close to Barrington House proper.
I was looking for references for personal fic writing usage, but figured others might enjoy having these at the ready, too.
All caps credit @ kissthemgoodbye because they are awesome.
