Eugene having a scary wife would include...
Eugene isn't exactly what you would call brave, but you, his wife, are what you would call scary. He is always running away from danger and you are always protecting him.
You'd been with the group since Atlanta, and had become quite the survivor. You use an axe which you found early on, and have kept, becoming very proficient with it. You don't talk much, and let your actions speak for you.
When you first met Eugene, he made a joke that you were like a slasher villain from the 80s. You gave him a small smile and made a quick reference under your breath, and then he was glued to you - talking your ear off.
But you liked it, preferring to listen. You liked his intelligence and straight forward nature, his jokes made you smile, even though everyone else rolls their eyes. He appreciates it.
In Terminus, he was scared you were going to die, and he hadn't felt as strongly about anybody. He wants to tell you his secret, tell you everything but he can't. He's too afraid.
So, he doesn't. In the library, you try to talk to him, he's been distant. But you can't find the words, so you just sit with him. It's quiet - once Abraham and Rosita have finished. You place your hand on his, and he tenses, so you pull your hand back.
Seeing the hurt look on your face, he tries to explain, 'I'm not who you think I am', but you just give him a look before kissing him. He can't help but sink into it.
The next day, when he finally tells everyone the truth. The shattered look on your face nearly breaks him, and then Abraham does. Falling to the floor, you naturally go to make sure he is okay. Cradling his head, the tears started falling but you kept them back. You cleared the blood from his face.
You felt so angry, and betrayed but you buried the feelings. But along with those feelings, you also buried all feelings towards him.
That night in the church, he tried to talk to you but you just stared, no ounce of emotion on your face.
However, if anyone spoke badly about him, you'd give a look and they'd stop talking.
Whilst on the road, you'd slowly start to mend your relationship. You're still not talking but you look at him with less betrayal.
When the rain finally falls, after weeks of drought, you can't help but smile at him and he smiles back. It's small but something.
When you finally get to Alexandria, he has a ring for you. He knows it's too soon, he knows it's not the right time. But he wants to prove to you that he cares, even after everything. You accept, with the condition that you'll need time to really trust him again.
From that point on, you become inseparable. You go on runs with him to make sure he gets what he needs for whatever he is building. You keep him safe, and make sure no one messes with him.
No one really gets it, you are one of the best fighters in the group, and he can barely hold his own, but you make it work.
