Eyeless snakes hidden just outside the traveling circus. That bind the victims tightly, fangs sinking into every limb as the shuddering body squirms futility to escape.
Enormous spiders whose venomous bit paralyzes the victims. Whether the flesh is exposed or the spiders must burrow beneath the clothes to date their bloodlust, the victim is powerless to escape.
And the public are never the wiser. "Just avoid those spots," they say, "Mind the investations."
