Allison awoke to an ear piercing shriek. The violent noise was coming from the crib across the room as she covered her ears, the sound ringing her eardrums. She cried out as the high pitch reverberated through her ears, and at the same time, she felt a sharp pinch in her back. Her hand raced to her spine, and it wasn’t long until she felt the familiar pinching in her shoulder blades. She looked around the room, but didn’t see Nik, could only smell the breakfast he was cooking in the kitchen. “Nik...” she said, quietly at first, before progressively getting louder with each call of his name. “Nik!” Ally shouted impatiently. “NIKOLAS!”

“Hey,you.” She walked out of Ally’s hospital room just as Niko was walking towards it. “They’re both asleep.” She commented so he wasn’t rushed. “Can I talk to you for a bit?”

i would not put that twisted thought past him. doesn’t the guy have a thing for breakfast too? ally you might want to check on the baby before you take a bite of your food

Liz marched right into her brother’s room, shutting the door behind her. “Okay. I need to talk to you. Take a five minute break from your little double life and give it to me straight.” She pulled her jacket off, throwing it onto his bed before pacing his room. “How do you do it? How do you care and not care at the same time?” She asked, looking up at him. “How do you allow yourself to care about Ally, and your unborn baby... but not care about anyone else?”

“Niko, oh- thank God,” Ally whispered when she saw her boyfriend move into the living room. “I needed to talk to you. There’s so much going on right now, and now that we’ve only got fifteen weeks left, I’m freaking out. We still need to find a house, or at least, somewhere to stay, our baby girl needs a nursery. Your mother is helping me plan a baby shower and I have to go in for an appointment later today because I’m now two weeks away from the third trimester, I felt her kick earlier today and I still don’t have the faintest idea as to what to name her!” she cried, taking a deep breath as she fell back onto the couch. “There’s just so much left to do.”

[ one week later ] “I’m sorry, Nikolas...”

After Ally's spat with Chris, she had stormed out the door, headed to go see Niko, which was her original plan, but she was much more upset than she had anticipated. The cold wind hit her tears, the salty water freezing on her face, but that didn't stop them from falling as she went through security before she saw Niko. "Hey..." she whispered, wiping the tears that refused to stop.
