"Giving you a dirty look? Me? No no. I wasn't giving you any look, Ebony." Her name laced with venom when it left Liz's lips. "Matter of fact, If I heard correctly, I don't even know you."

One thing that doppelganger had always been adamant about was that she would never make a deal with a demon. It was the kind of mess she didn't want to get herself into. Too many people she loved and cared about had been involved with demons and it was the one thing Elena had wanted to stay away from. She had even had a few experiences with the things herself and that alone was enough to put her off the idea of ever selling her soul away to one of them.

But she had never been this desperate before.

Marnie's life was on the line and it was Elena's fault. There was little to no chance of her niece ever waking up from the coma she was in and, with the girl being human, there was no way they would be able to bring her back if she died. Once she was dead, she was gone for good and Elena couldn't bear to carry such a burden on her shoulders. She refused to be the one responsible for the death of her brother's daughter. Not now, not ever.

After a lot of research, the doppelganger found herself sitting in the middle of a crossroads in the middle of Mystic Falls, covering up a few items she had buried in the dead center of the crossroads. It hadn't been easy to obtain a few of the objects she needed but, after shopping around and visiting the weird black magic stores that she had never known existed, she had everything she needed. Locked securely in a jar was a photo of herself, some graveyard dirt, the bone of a black cat and some yarrow. All of which were ritual items she needed to summon a crossroads demon. There were plenty in town so she had no doubt that one would show up the second the objects were properly buried.

Once the ground had swallowed the objects up, Elena's eyes lifted to see a woman standing in front of her and she would have smiled at her success if the situation hadn't been so grim. Getting to her feet, Elena swallowed thickly, trying to muster up the strength she needed to literally sell her soul in exchange for her niece's life. When she opened her mouth, she couldnt find the right words to say, but the only thing that she managed to get out was a simple sentence that would inevitably be the beginning of her doom.

"I need your help."

Eva took a seat at the Mystic Grill's bar, hoping to try some of everything before the night was over. She hadn't even realized who she had taken a seat beside until she looked over. "Ebony? I hadn't realized you were here, too," Eva said with a smirk.
