#tussling

Some drawings inspired by my discussion with @chinesegal . Nicely civil despite our many differences in opinion!

The first was based both on our discussion of traditional scary dangerous vampires and Drac being somewhat repressed and part of the fun of Ericka as a character is she can kinda be the voice of "Aren't you tired of being nice? DON'T YOU JUST WANNA GO APESHIT?" I always figured Ericka LOVES when Drac is showing his horrifying and dangerous side. I tried to find a similar "Scary/Into It" ship dynamic but couldn't find it. So I mcgyvered my own. XD

The second comes from our discussion about how Dennis is treated as either becoming a vampire or a human while his status as a hybrid isn't given weight. I explained my version of the dhampir rules, where they could be either vampire leaning or human leaning depending on if they hand fangs or powers, but would still clearly be hybrids. For example, Lucy isn't as strong as a pure blooded vamp like Mavis and Simon, despite being powerless, still has some enhanced durability, strength, and agility. I explained that Mavis would be able to defeat Lucy in a raw power fight, but that Lucy's motivation and pride in her powers would give her an edge over the more repressed Mavis. That last bit became this fun half sibling tussle.
