Also, if you havenāt read it, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell brings joy to my soul and as an anxious person and made me feel so seen and understood, and it was just a great read and I would highly recommend it
FANGIRL!!Ā šš i read this book so long ago but itās so dear to my heart! i definitely agree. i loved having a protagonist that was an avid reader because iām like hey.....thatās me <3
So one of my all time favorite books as well as one thatās very good for reading during times of stress and frustration is Markus Zusakās I Am The Messenger. It is both joyful and humorous, as well as deeply moving, but all without being dense or inaccessible. Itās just...it makes me happy cry and restores hope in my heart.
omg!! i love markus zusakĀ š the book thief is in like my top 5 favourite books of all time! itās on my tbr list and i keep putting off reading i am the messenger because.....i have high expectations (because of the book thief) and iām a bit afraid it wonāt live up to my expectations???? but wow.....it sounds great!! š„ŗ and the fact that it means so much to you????? š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ iāll definitely try to read it this summer!!
