A serial killer emerges in New York City and the experienced detective, Dean Winchester, is doing all he can to stop them. As the victim count rises, reporters begin to crave information that the NYPD does not have. With the press always asking increasingly frustrating questions it's not surprising that Dean despises them. His resentment towards them only seems to grow after meeting Castiel Novak, a reporter for a popular crime blog. The murderer seems to get more creative and Castiel's interest in the crimes escalates, causing him to seek out Dean much more than the detective would like. As a result, the two men get closer, and to the investigator's disdain he actually likes it. As their relationship develops, Dean finds that the murderers are another thing getting closer to him--whoever the killer is, they're going after Castiel.
