J: Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)One Punch Man. I’d never heard of it before until I saw all these gifs of it appearing on my dash, as well as posts talking about how hilarious it was and how amazing the animation is (which is true, it’s gorgeous). I did end up watching the first 5 episodes, but... it’s a little too random for me I guess.

N: Name three things you wish you saw more of in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).Hm, this is a tough one... For one I wish we could see more of Connor Kenway in the Assassin’s Creed fandom. He didn’t get closure, his story was never properly finished and I HATE how Ubisoft and a large part of the community treated Connor just because he wasn’t like Ezio. Ubisoft brushed him off and never even told the fans how he died, even though we know how everyone else died. Or even if Connor ever accomplished his goals. They basically told us ‘lol you guys figure out yourself what happened to him through fanfiction and stuff.’ Ubisoft doesn’t care about him and I won’t forgive them for it. It’s one of the reasons why I started falling out of the AC fandom. At least it started with this.

Number 2... um, I would have liked to see more Cooler in Dragon Ball Z. Freeza is fun and all, he’s a very good villain, but his brother was... forgive the horrible pun because it’s impossible not to make it... his brother was just so much cooler. XD SERIOUSLY! That final form of his, HHNNNGGGG! I LOVED the movie with Cooler, didn’t really like the second one all that much, but compared to how much screen time Freeza got (and it still getting) and how little Cooler got, ugh... I want moooooooore! Give me more Coolerrrrrr!!!!

And number 3... There wasn’t enough Chikorita in the Pokemon anime when they were in Johto! >C I hate she evolved into Bayleef. I love Chikorita so much, it’s one of my favorite pokemon and I need more of that precious leaf potato ;A;

W: A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.Laughable Evil Villains. I’m the kind of person who really likes villains. Sometimes I even root for the villains. I legit cried when Sauron’s tower collapsed in Return of the King, and not because the battle had been won. I love me some properly evil villains, and I hate it when they come off as a joke.

Same here with the moving and ice cream, though I do have some other things to eat. What kind of ice cream? :3

A meal they make for their love interest?

Mahvir’s not much of a cook. He can survive on his own, of course, but he doesn’t have talent. Still, in the course of a casual conversation, Solas asked Mahvir about Lavellan cuisine. Mahvir felt like he hadn’t described the Lavellan pit ovens very well, so he decided to make Solas a meal... with help. The first person he asked was Dorian, who’s his go-to guy for advice. Once he remembered that Dorian is a rich asshole who has slaves cook for him (and they only narrowly avoid starting another argument), he goes to Varric, who’s normal and has probably made his own food at some point. Varric helps him pick out some spices and such to go with the beef and fish the kitchens have on hand and advises him on how much to put in. (There are, alas, no slugs in the kitchen stores. Savages.)

The next morning, Mahvir goes into the garden. Giselle comes in to find him crouched in front of a pit that is on fire. She’s assured that “it’s a Dalish thing, you wouldn’t understand.” When she comes back from the Chantry, she finds that the hole has been refilled and is content to write it off as just some sort of pagan rite... until Mahvir comes back a few hours later, digs out the hole again, and pulls food from the depths. Food. From the earth. She’s going to have a headache.

He serves it to Solas for breakfast (who has a horrible habit of sleeping in to explore the Fade for just five more minutes). It’s a bit over-spiced (Mahvir is a terrible judge), but it’s tender and perfectly cooked. They cuddle and eat together. It’s disgustingly cute.

One of these days, Mahvir might like to do the same for Abelas :)

Favourite dessert?

Mahvir doesn’t care much for sweets. He’ll eat a tiny bit with Sera sometimes, but too much makes him feel ill. For desserts, he usually just prefers naturally sweet things, like fruits, maybe with some mint leaves on top. He does like ice cream, but he prefers the Dalish variety, which go unsweetened.

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

Sulvun is mostly reserved and shy. He’s very polite, but once you get to know him, you might see his mischievous side. Sulvun doesn’t have ‘heroes’ exactly, but he admires people who keep communities running and bound together. He hates people who betray their communities.

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Sulvun’s best friend is Mahvir, come hell or high water. He’s attracted to bold and outgoing people in general, people who are open about their feelings. His partners as the Inquisitor are Bull and Dorian.

23. What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?

Character Solidifying

1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?

Mahvir doesn’t think much about his father; he doesn’t have one. He was an Arlathvhen baby, the result of a tryst between Davhalla and a man from another clan who. Uh. Maybe she didn’t catch the name of.

Mahvir feels some passing curiosity about his father and would talk to him if he ever had the chance, but it doesn’t have much bearing on his life. Dalish children aren’t just raised by their parents. They’re raised by the community as a whole. Maybe he didn’t know his biological father but he had Sulvun’s parents, Faron and Rosala, the hunters around camp who would humor him and his million questions, and his mother was quite attentive.

2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?

Mahvir’s relationship with Davhalla is complicated. She was, for the most part, a good mother. She allowed him a fair amount of free reign and balanced it with responsibility and bonding time. She could be a bit overprotective when he was very young, but she grew out of it as Mahvir gained a bit more autonomy.

When he was ten, Davhalla decided he was old enough to understand the situation their family was in and the role he would have to play. Mahvir accepted the facts of everything, but he became terrified that Davhalla would abandon him. He became a bit clingy with her and he was anxious when she went away on hunts. He had no way of asking her whether she was planning to kill humans or how dangerous it would be. He always had to face the possibility that she might not return.

During adolescence, this turned into a touch of resentment. It wasn’t that he was afraid to start killing humans–he thought he would have his mother by his side–but he was angry about how afraid he was for her. When she did die, it didn’t have anything to do with Vir Banal’ras at all. She just got sick and couldn’t get better. Sometimes he can’t understand how things like that just happen.

4) favorite character you’ve written

As for what I’ve already written (and some of it actually published), I’m thinking it would have to be Adela. I love writing Ray, he’s a lot of fun and he gives me a lot of opportunities to take a gander at being funny (plus I have his voice figured out pretty well), but she’s got this very dry sense of humor and this irreverent air about her that I really like.

Aaand of the ones I haven’t shown off much, Vogar, my other Carta dwarf, would be a favorite. :) He’s not really humorous or clever with words, but he’s got a pottymouth, and a temper, and.... well. Basically I just like to write irreverent, Carta-hardened dwarves. (Wouldn’t guess from my “oeuvre” featuring mostly sarcastic young noblemen, would you. XD)

8) favorite genre to write

Well... “romance” is the obvious answer, but on fanfic terms, I really like to write just... pointless fluff. That’s probably my favorite thing. Especially if I have the opportunity to have the characters just lay there in bed, mutter cute things to one another, generally talk in ways people never really do, the like? I’m serious, of all the scenes floating around in my mind, a startling amount of them play out in bed. (And I’m not just talking about the erotic ones. Which I also like. Erotica is a good thing to write to get to know the characters.)

I guess one way to really round it all out would be by saying that I like to (make a valiant effort to) write intimacy? :)

9) what, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

I’m pretty much reading all the time. Published fiction, fanfiction, articles, poetry, I just generally read a lot of things, and I take notes of expressions and ideas and thoughts that catch my eye. Which often results in having notebook upon notebook full of little more than disembodied sentence-fragments, but you know. Every story starts with just a phrase. :)
