a lot people thought tonraq was this broodin, mysterious man who always got into fights and trouble

but in reality he was just a giant buff dork (and still is) who doesn’t know how to ask out the cute girl at the healing hut so he instead gets hurt in hopes he’ll see her again

lucky for him senna always seems ready to help him even if it means passing a patient off to another healer

senna often takes time out of her day to walk tonraq to where he needs to go, now she could just give him the directions, but she cant just pass up the opportunity to flirt can she?

for whatever reason i imagine that tonraq is easier to make flustered and embarrassed than senna 

which means that senna is always embarrassing and flustering him whenever she has the chance

but tonraq isn’t uncomfortable by this, contrary to popular belief

despite being the shorter and the least threatening one in the relationship, she’s always the one trying to protect and fight for tonraq even though he can protect himself 

tonraq doesn’t mind cause he tries to do the same even though she can protect herself as well

he also likes the fact that someone is willing to look out for him

whenever he gets called ‘my beloved’ he gets extremely red in the face and if he wasn’t already talking, then he is now cause he’s stuttering up a storm, it takes him a while to fully recover

in return senna gets flustered whenever tonraq calls her his moonlight or starlight so it’s only fair he gets to fluster her with a cheesy nickname after she’s done flustering him with a cheesy nickname

so basically his brain gets deep fried every time senna calls him this

tonraq was definitely the biggest fan of chief hakoda so when he found out that senna’s grandfather was chief hakoda himself, tonraq thought he was gonna explode

at some point tonraq did have a crush on avatar kuruk, mainly when he was a preteen but also when he was a small child and senna often teases him about this

tonraq finding out that avatar kuruk is one of senna’s ancestors (a great great great great great great great great great great great great grandfather? maybe, i’ll expand on this if my brain stops being fried) got his brain 💣💣💥💥
