this post isnt gonna be coherent bc i dont usually make posts (at least not good ones)
but i really liked wesleys character in Daybreak. im used to watching shows that'll have a token black male character but with this show he was actually given...character. like he had his only interesting plot that touched on him not only being black and not only touched on him being gay (which is way more than i could have ever expected from a show with a white male lead) but had him be both in a way which i loved and could resonate with. he was given a complex relationship and his character didn't rely heavily on the actions of the main character.
i dont know how to feel about turbo - i hope he has a bigger character arc than them just having the shooting scene bc he did a lot of bad shit and he did go very power hungry and he needs to reform a lot but i cannot deny that i am a lil soft for him and wes ( the tall and short dynamic - my heart)
also having rza as the voice in Wes' head - godly.
