I think when a band has as many hits and receives through the years as much radio airplay as the Doobie Brothers, it's easy to forget about all the great music they did that you never hear unless you spin the original LPs. This was their fifth album in 1975 and their first with Skunk Baxter. There are some great songs on this one, including "Rainy Day Crossroad Blues", "Sweet Maxine", "Music Man" and the single "Take Me in Your Arms", a cover of a Motown song. And the guests include jazz great Conte Condine on trumpet, Ry Cooder on slide, Maria Muldaur on backing vocals and Billy Payne on keys. #DoobieBrothers #vinyl #vinylove #vinyljunkies #vinyljukies666 #vinylcollectors #vinyldiscoveries #recordcollector #records #1975 #SkunkBaxter #RyCooder #MariaMuldaur #turntable #turntableway #turntableproject #musicblog
