I’m reaching out to other moms in my situation. My baby isn’t a baby anymore. My baby is becoming a big boy. & I’m struggling. Raider will be 3 in less than a week but he’s still nursing (I’ve only allowed before bed now). Im really struggling on getting him off completely. He’s definitely hard headed & will not give up a fight for what he wants. So if I try to say no, it’s world war 3 with him. Tantrums, screaming & sometimes hitting. I’m extremely proud of myself for being able to push through all the sleepless nights, to pumping hours on end, to all the cracked & clogged ducts to give him my breast milk. It’s hard to even say goodbye myself to our bond with nursing but I’m dying to have my body back to myself, I want to go out without worrying about my boobs filling up, I want him to enjoy sleep overs without me at his grandma’s house.
