From what Miles has witnessed of Phoenix and Maya’s working relationships–and the situations they end up getting into, he would find himself very protective of you, especially while you’re out investigating for a case. While he wouldn’t deny you from accompanying him to certain interrogations/case-related points of interest–this is your job after all–he would always remind you to be cautious while you’re working together.
He would keep things professional between you both while you’re working, whether during an investigation or during court. That is, referring to you formally by your last name rather than your first. However, if you happen to be teasing him or messing with something related to the case–whether potential evidence or a witness–he finds himself saying your name, often sternly or with exasperation. Though, the most amusing moments would be when he would refer to you by a term of endearment. That is, if he’s speaking to a witness and the context of the conversation reminds you of something cute (from your perspective)/embarrassing (from his), if you try to bring it up, he would cut you off with a flustered “D-Darling–! Please, this is not the time—!”
With his work ethic, he would find himself doing all-nighters at his office every now and then, sometimes too tired to even go home. While he would often have you go head home without him, you usually tend to stay–which he is ever so appreciate of, and something he cherishes deeply. This would often lead to you both curled up together on the couch, some freshly-brewed tea and expensive snacks set upon the coffee table before you. By your insistence, the case file he would have spent days checking over would be set down. Instead, his hands would be toying with your hair as he engages with you in light conversation, feeling so utterly at peace with you beside him.
Certainly, you wouldn’t be getting the Gumshoe treatment by him. Though, don’t think that he’ll be overly lenient just because you’re in a relationship together. He would still hold you accountable for any errors that you made do, much like any boss would. However, given the circumstance, he may reprimand you in a way that would best be left for a different post of a different rating~

With his inability to grasp most of modern technology, he tends to be rather old fashioned with displaying his affection. Love letters tucked away in your belongings, all while feigning innocence whenever you bring this up before confidently remarking that he will find the culprit, and leaving goofy but heartfelt voicemails, especially when he was busy with a case.

During his more drawn out, complicated cases, he’s stuck alone at the office–having sent Maya and Pearl home already–trying to get things sorted out and ready for tomorrow. Obviously, he’s quite stressed out at this point, thus is more than happy when you come by to visit him, offering him company and support. Though, in these moments, while your presence alone comforts him, it helps to relieve some of his stress, with you pressed against either his desk or his couch–this tends to be when he isn’t quite as gentle as he usually is~
He was more than flustered when you asked if he would be up for spanking you–remarking how you’d like to feel like the defense’s desk every time he slams his hands down during court. His first attempt was something you could barely feel, with him too nervous and embarrassed. Though, with time and with his confidence becoming more assured, he’s more than eager to offer you a few swats~

Phoenix
When a case keeps him all night at the office and you happen to be there, there’s a tendency for you both to enjoy a nap together on the couch. Though, if he cannot afford to sleep–but would not want to keep you up for his sake–he would set his blue jacket on top of you as a blanket.
Not to say that they’ve completely gone away, but lazy Sundays were definitely more prominent around the time when he wasn’t practicing law. He often feigns sleep yet keeps his arms wrapped around you. He may even grin while keeping his eyes closed, just before nuzzling your neck and remarking that staying in would just be delightful at this time.
Edgeworth
When work becomes far too stressful and a game of chess isn’t calming him down as it usually would, he finds relief with a joyride through town, taking you along of course. He would keep both hands on the wheel, though at stoplights, his fingers would yours.
Though he abhors the concept of Netflix and chill, he would certainly not outright reject an afternoon spent watching Steel Samurai episodes with you on the couch, with a fancy array of snacks set on the coffee table.
Apollo
As his Chords of Steel does need rest, when it’s the night before a trial–and he has fully prepared–he engages in soft but in-depth conversation with you while you’re both in bed. He listens intently to what you have to say, whether it’s plans for the future or discussing plans for a summer getaway.
He tends to ask you out via offers of deciphering your horoscope for you, such as “Huh, looks like your sign can expect something pretty amazing soon” when he buys a gift for you.Â
Klavier
Has dedicated and even composed entire albums to you, though he would try to keep things on the low. That is to say, on the dedication page, he would put, “I dedicate this album to my beautiful inspiration. Ich liebe, mein schatz.”
Even so, he tends to be pretty reserved about you in interviews and on social media, just to maintain a sense of privacy for you both. Still, during the times he does otherwise, he praises you to no end when talking to interviewers, and posts pictures of you on his social media accounts–though done in an artistic way, such as you with your back turned as you stare out to the sunset.
