The last sunrise on the salt. It was a historical week for the 70th annual Speedweek. Our Challenger 2 team brought the wheel piston driven record home to the Thompson family at 448.757 in a car designed 50 years ago. Team Vesco and their car the โTurbinator โ captured the HOTROD trophy for the fastest run of of the meet at 463.038 MPH. It was an EPIC Speedweek for two of the oldest families in LSR. Thank you to Pat McDowell, Bill Lattin and all of the #SCTA volunteers.
