- riolu trainers value fighting/steel rhetoric, such as being competitive, resolute, and determined. riolu trainers in particular are also loyal and easily moved to action, and have a preference for a cool sinnoh pokémon that isn’t too large.

- espurr trainers value psychic rhetoric, such as being intuitive, internal, and observant. espurr trainers in particular are also perceptive and temperamental, and have a preference for a clever kalos pokémon that is pretty small.

WAIT THERE'S A POST LIMIT????

All the ROs would respect a person’s boundaries and wouldn’t want to cause them discomfort or harm, but the MC isn’t written as someone who has a touch aversion, just to forewarn you. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable. 

And this next part is to everyone who has sent in similar asks along this line:

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about MCs and having fears around being touched or intimacy or sex. Or not being interested in romance or sex at all. How you feel is 100% valid, but this game focuses quite a bit on the romance between the MC and the RO of their choice, and it includes kissing and physical touching at the very least, though sex can be turned down. 

I’m still in the process of writing this game, so I can’t say for certain what will or won’t happen in every scene yet, but there will be instances of the ROs touching the MC to pull them out of the way of danger, for example. Or perhaps a comforting pat on the shoulder. And there will be kissing and touching each other in a romantic nature at the very least.

If any of that would make you uncomfortable or would be something you’re not interested in, I would rather you not play Twin Coves for your own well-being. I really do not want anyone to be uncomfortable or upset. There will be content warnings for the game, but perhaps wait until the game is out and have someone play it beforehand to make sure it’s safe for you or ask the community. There are many kind people here who will tell you if something that upsets you is in the game. This goes for anyone that has any kind of trigger. Please stay safe.

I think they were just asking in terms of how a kitsune would fit into the “world” that I’ve made for the game, like if I had a different explanation for them, but I don’t. Kitsune (and all yokai) are supernatural creatures in their own right-- their own “species” if you will in the TCU--just like fae, werewolves and vampires are their own thing. 

I think white authors can write and create characters inspired by the folklore of other cultures--as long as they do their research first to make sure it is ok, and are respectful and perhaps have someone from that culture sensitivity read. I’m white and I have many characters that are supernatural creatures inspired by folklore that isn’t from my cultural heritage. Some of those characters are in this game. 

(Of course the scenario doesn't have to be that exactly, I was just trying to convey the Vibes I was going for)

I’m assuming the flirter asks for the MC’s number in this scenario?

Azriel: is very smug about it

Eli: feels warm all over that MC shot them down so quickly 

Cass: goes up to the MC and kisses them to rub it in the flirter’s face

Kai: he never doubted MC for a moment, but he’s still relieved 

Lir: texts MC “do they need some aloe for that burn?”

Xander: chuckles to himself and goes over to MC to wrap an arm around them

Rook: won’t admit it, but he feels a little smug
