Stormfly was cut and beat up, she barely made it back to Berk where she crash landed in a forest clearing a little ways out from the main village. Astrid, who had been slumped over her dragon's back, barely hanging on for the flight, fell off Stormfly as the dragon collided with the ground. Astrid's body was more beaten than Storm's was, she had gashes and wounds that were still oozing blood, he skin was paler than normal, and her breathing was staggered and struggling. It had been a few days since she had been home, since she had seen her friends or family, they were probably worried, or maybe not. She had gone out with Stormfly just for a short little adventure away from Berk which turned into a not so short or fun "adventure" and now that she was back, she couldn't even pull herself off the ground to actually return HOME.
After years of studying the history of the Four Clans I feel like it's impossible for Merida to not step away without at least a general distrust towards vikings after learning how they raided and pillaged her ancestor's lands.
I can't help but bring this out whenever she's near Tuff and I kind of want a starter that has them engaging in combat.
