Powers & Weaknesses

+ Merge The Tuanji chooses a host and merges with them. They need to have access or permission to merge with the host. When a merge takes place they take over the mind, memories and body. The merge is final and the host will die if the Tuanji leaves the body before the natural life-span is over.

+ Knowledge of past lives The Tuanji has extended knowledge of the lives of their previous hosts. This includes their skills and languages. This also influences the personality of the, now merged, creature.

+ Telepathy

Can speak through telepathy - only sending and not receiving. + Teleportation Can teleport when the body is fully rested and tuanji and host are fully merged. Only to places they have been before and that are within 1 kilometre around them.

- A creature of good The Tuanji can have issues merging when the hostbody has a lot of negative thoughts or a dark personality. This will harm the Tuanji who will not leave the body before the body dies naturally. This can result in headaches, addiction and depression.

- Death become Death Murdering or gravely hurting another being can cause the Tuanji distress to the point of death. Here the host and the Tuanji die together.

- Well rested Any powers of the Tuanji are only available when they are fully rested and in good health.

The Tuanji…

Hailing from another dimension, the Tuanji are technically extra-terrestrial and extradimensional beings who can not survive without a host for long in our atmosphere. Having found Earth as a place with plenty of hosts, few Tuanji have chosen to come here and live their existence instead of in their own dimension. In their own dimension, they exist in large clouds of stardust where they can communicate and have their own civilisation.

Upon merging with a human they get silver lines on their bodies and silver eyes. Their blood turns a shimmery white.

The Tuanji are naturally good beings. Internal conflicts with the host they pick can make then ill or even kill both tuanji as well as the host.

With the Tuanji, change of a faceclaim is possible with 3 months in between each switch.

They are a sister race to the Tuanliu.
