so, a little peek behind the curtain for my writing process—i almost always know ahead of time which part of the fic I want to excerpt for the fic summary, and this was doubly the case for ttfwig. i knew from the start of the fic i wanted carlos to say that line and for it to be in the summary, so I’m glad it stuck with you!!
also i too am frequently thinking about versainz. there’s a 2025 season ttfwig sequel/coda in my head where carlos keeps hooking up w max every time he has a shit result (so basically every week lol) and starts slowly developing feelings. but once his luck finally turns around in baku he doesn’t know what to do with the fact that he still wants to hook up w max even if it isn’t a punishment hehe!! maybe one day i will actually write it…
