ALSO While I’m super happy about the new Titans line-up and how different it seems I relaized it still kinda fits the “sorta like the 03 cartoon TT template” followed in DCAU moive and Rebirth Teen Titans:

We got Dick (as Nightwing), Raven, and Gar back but now Natasha filling the black sci-fi robotics teen role for Vic (or just SciFi powered PoC teen given Jaime and Wally II filled it before) and now M’gann taking up the cute, powerful red head alien role. Note: I know they are more than that and not clones but really pay attention to recent TT line-ups they’ve been doing their best to channel 03 cartoon/TTG line ups one way or another.

But hey, again little more creative here. Older characters aren’t being bossed around by Damian who now has friends that aren’t “borrowed” from his brothers’ gens, Raven’s maybe co-leading Titans, and M’gann’s finally back in comics!

I personally don't hate the basic "future where heroes lose their way and become the villains" story premise of Titans of Tomorrow, in fact I usually love that kind of stuff. But I do have problems with how it originally seemed to be "Tim has one bad day and his friends follow him down that dark road when it was hard to believe that certain characters would do that especially with such little information and development we got." Also part of the problem of how TT made so much revolve around whatever Robin was leading the team and just cram Raven and Gar in with the newer gen which they will be stuck with for foreseeable future it seems.

ALSO on subject of Joey Wilson portrayals, Rebirth Deathstroke’s talk about a character dying makes me worried for Joey there...I mean I have some issues on Rebirth Joey’s character but overall there’s things that Wolfman brushed up on in NTT but never did much with and Priest is treating him more of like a character than a plot device and I want to see where that Joey with a conscience goes esp now we have another homicidal version but on TV now

Looking at the Teen Titans solicit for October finally Emiko is being considered for the team....now we just need to keep filling team up with characters who are closer to Damian’s age or fairly new so Starfire, Raven, & Beast Boy can move on and be treated like the experienced heroes they should be and not be bossed around by a 13 year old.

Rebirth KFRae is sadly rushed and we don't even really get why they like each other besides Wally apparently being one of the first people to talk with her about her self. Really be nice we could actually SEE that development esp with Wally leaving the team next month (which could be why he's rushing it).

However, it thankfully isn't BBR which had very similar but more obnoxious development.

How old are the Rebirth Teen Titans again? Especially Kory are they playing the "she's an alien so she ages differently" card which is one thing but playing it now for TV synergy as well as not remember if she knows common Earth colloquialisms by now? And for awhile I thought Wally II was closer to Damian's age but he might be closer to Gar and Raven here. Speaking of which, Raven's mini mentioned she learned about her aunt from her mother little before she turned 17 so she may still be around 17 which I thought most of Tim's Titans were anyway.

Also I know Jonboy Meyers said the team was between 13-19 in ages but with him off the book not so sure. And not like DC quietly retcons ages anyway. Look at Gar and also Tanya Spears went from being 18(intro) to 17(TT) to 16(Deathstroke).
