Thinking about TTPD and the themes of life, death, and rebirth

I can't stop hearing "I gave you all of me and you acted like it was nothing" in TTPD

There's a lot of "I feel like you don't see me as human," tied into the emotions of TTPD

Down Bad is my favorite because of its radical shifts between the etheral surreal feeling of loving someone and the brutal reality when you find out you were just "fascinating" to them, not a true equal.

I hear the theme of realizing, "They only like me because I was insecure and pleased them," and then deciding "I love myself first and foremost" in TTPD

I think TTPD is a reflection on habits and the feelings/thoughts that drive them over years. Each song calls back to another earlier sound, concept, or detail and brings it screaming to the forefront in relation to recent relationships

The fact that I pretended I wasn't relating to TTPD like I haven't loved people freely only to find out they don't even really like me.
