Tsuruzo has always been a character that is very near and dear to my heart, and a character I enjoyed writing in my first draft of this story. So far, he's the only suitor I didn't struggle to write information for because I tried my best to go deep into his character beforehand.
I'm happy that YanDev didn't pull a typical useless trivia fact like he did for Kyuji and gave me something to work with. I imagine that he watched Kizana's parents in grade school and admired them, but his parents didn't think that he could make it big simply because of their poor situation.
When he first ran into Kizana in middle school, he used her as his pedestal of hope and dyed his hair to symbolize the beginning of that hope. (I plan on making Kizana's biological hair white/very light purple, and I imagine this was her hair color in middle school, so I don't think looking like her currently is really his fault.)
I think maybe the Sunobu family's theme was always purple, so that's why he dyed his hair as such. After he decided to become 𝑇𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑢𝑧𝑜 and not just "Tsuruzo", he decided to interact with Kizana as such. Thanks to this, he won her interest, and they've been as close as ever since.
