She kept him steady as the others continued collecting supplies. The gash wasn`t to deep, yet it did cause a straight line from his right should and across his stomach.

If it had been any deeper.. Hikari didn`t even want to think of it.

“I..I know, but Jyou`s going to take care of it! He`s already working on something..I just need to you keep your eyes open a little bit more..” Taking a piece of wet cloth from a bowl beside her she gently began cleaning off the dried blood. 

It was a mixture of alcohol with a numbing agent. She had to keep the wound from clogging.

Sitting on the table she smiled up at the other. “Did you put anything bad into this?” It had become almost a game between them.

 Takeru always told her about how he`d sneak some spice or wasabi into his own food and while Hikari knew Yamato wouldn`t do that to her, she liked to tease him.

“Well whatever it is I`m sure it will taste delicious. Thank you very much..” Blowing on the broth she took a small spoonful. Like always, it was very tasty.

“I am certain that with this soup I will get better in no time. Thank you Yamato-kun..”
