Wait... what exactly did Urataros just put on him? The oni had barely been paying attention when he felt the other slip something around his neck. He heard a metallic click, that usual irritating laugh— his eyes narrowed, a hand reaching up to grasp onto this mysterious object. What the—?

“Ack! K-Kame-yarou, what the fuck!? Is this... is this a GODDAMN DOG COLLAR!?” Momotaros snapped, tugging on the offending thing! His face grew a brighter shade of red, probably from all that steam rolling around in his head now... he immediately lunged for his boyfriend, grasping onto his plastron and shaking him. “TAKE IT OFFA ME, NOW!!!”

NO, THIS IS MY COAT! YOU JUST HAVE ONE THAT’S REALLY SIMILAR... BUT YOU’VE STOLEN MY CLOTHES BEFORE, KAME. I MIGHT AS WELL TAKE YOURS NEXT TIME! HEH HEH. 

I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. THERE’S SO MANY THINGS I COULD TALK ABOUT, BUT NONE OF THEM ARE REALLY COMING TO ME, NOT IN THE RIGHT WORDS AT LEAST. YOU KNOW HOW I ALWAYS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT, HEH... but I guess I can try, huh? 

We’ve been through a lot together, haven’t we? Hell, when we first met each other I couldn’t friggin’ stand you! I should’ve known better that I probably wasn’t gonna be the only one, but you showing up freaked me the hell out! Of course more of ‘em showed up later, but... we were the first two, and I feel like that kinda means something? Eh... that probably sounds real stupid, but yeah. I didn’t ever think I was even gonna tolerate you, let alone what we’ve become to each other now. Everything about you made me so angry... but I guess over time you started growing on me, even if I wanted to beat the shit out of you whenever you thought you were just so cool. Eventually you became my best friend, and even though you’re probably the most dishonest person I know? I trust you anyway. I trust you with my life... and maybe that’ll scare you, but it’s the truth. You know I really can’t lie to you. 

I love you. I don’t know how you managed to charm even me, but it worked. You make me happy, like... really happy. We’ve had our good times and bad, as we’ve always had... even our very bad, but we’ve gotten through them. We argue with each other probably every goddamn day, but that doesn’t stop me from loving you. This is getting all mushy and you’re probably gonna think this is real gross when you read it haha... but it’s just how I feel. I can’t even begin to try to write down just how much I love you. Words aren’t my thing like they are yours, so... yeah. I love you. You’re my best friend in this whole goddamn world, and as long as you let me I’ll continue to be by your side, always.
