sometimes I think we forget that megumi grew up around shoko and nanami too, maybe even utahime as well. And as a result they have a bit of a soft spot for him, maybe utahime doesnt but the rest of them do
shoko while she claims to have no favourites, she healed megumis scrapes and injuries when he was a kid and when he got into fights as a teen. She also gave him medicine and tea when he was sick and kept him company while he slept on the infirmary cot even tho she was itching for a cigarette. Even now she doesn't express it much but she always has his preferred ginger tea in her drawer and is always just a little bit more gentle with him.
both nanami and megumi respect eachother immensely. nanami regularly visited the fushiguro siblings (curtesy of gojo) and always complimented megumi on his technique. He used to go out to dinner with them (also curtesy of gojo), then after tsumiki sometimes only with megumi. they would sit in silence and eat something at his preferred bakery.
now nanami doesn't even need to ask for megumis order because he already knows it. And when they sit down somewhere nanami already brought some fruit for megumi to enjoy
And obviously the strongest. Gojo raised megumi and tsumiki and has the biggest soft spot for them u can imagine. While the transition of gojo being a stranger to someone megumi could actually trust and rely on was slow, when megumi first fell asleep on gojos shoulder after a mission-already trusting that gojo had infinity off- he almost cried.
gojo is the most insufferable adult in any room yet megumi always sought him out in a room full of strangers. Even baby megumi and teen gojo were co dependent. gojo was always holding his hand, hugging him, pestering him or bringing him on missions to teach him. Gojo had only seen megumi cry a handful of times and had only comforted him even less, but when tsumiki was in a hospital bed, still and unmoving gojo held megumi throughout his sobs and tried his hardest to fix it
gojo is utterly useless when megumi asks him for something because of the very few times he did ask him for anything. megumi want his card? Sure gojo can get him his own aswell. nobara and yuji are suggesting places to eat but megumi says something else? they're going to go where megumi wants. When megumi told him he doesn't want itadori to die, he didn't die because gojo made it happen
dadjo and his son megumi and the adults in his life who are way too attached to him. Even ichiji is a little softer for him
