….Something something tsukasen who are together and have been for a while that rarely if ever indulged in physical intimacy and displays of affection despite desperately wanting to because one of them (Senku ) refuses to accept or acknowledge that certain incidents had a much stronger impact on his wellbeing than he wants to admit, and the other (Tsukasa) doesn’t want to bring it up because he doesn’t want to hurt him again ……..something something…..

something deeply funny to me about how, between stanxeno and tsukasen, it's stanxeno that have the healthy relationship. like, sure, they're the Bad Guys, but that's to everyone else. to each other? canon childhood best friends. fiercely sentimental and loyal from the very beginning. just based off what we see, almost always on the same page with near zero communication issues. on the flip side tsukasen spend a solid third of the story at each other's throats and even after they've buried the hatchet (once they've used it to kill each other) they STILL can't be honest about the way they feel. tsukasa's flagellating himself like it's his job meanwhile senku's busy repressing every singular human emotion he's experienced because saving humanity really IS his job. realistically one of these couples would need therapy and it is NOT the one that blew up a group of college aged kids
