with yamarugi, yamato is like "I can make him better" and makes tsurugi better or worse depending on his survival

and with kinjomae, yuki is like "I could make him better or worse" and makes him worse unintentionally in some way regardless (we love that for him <\3)

and then there's tsuhara (i think this is the ship name) where Kinji sees a kindred spirit in ideals but the killing game decides "fuck that, rivals" despite the fact Kinji could indeed make him better (I say this yet have little knowledge into tsuhara but it feels like the right vibe)
