We have to work together, so lets not do the heavy emotional thing. ” Aaron could barely stutter out the sentence, so effected by seeing his ex that he could barely think straight. It wasn’t like it was unexpected- she’d always been on a ton of committees for school, so did he. It was how they met. But it had been three months since they broke up, he’d thought he’d be better by now. He had thought wrong.

“WHAT part of ‘leave me the fuck alone’ didn’t you register?” He spat, leaning against his car with a cigarette between his lips and a disgruntled expression on his face. He was in a shitty part of the wrong side of the tracks, no place for someone like her to be, and he really would prefer being alone without her shrill voice harping in his ear.

“Don’t talk, it’s too fucking early,” Handing the girl beside him the extra large coffee he’d gotten her, Thomas ran a hand through his styled hair and groaned; rubbing his eyes wearily. “You look like shit,” He added cheerfully.
