Tsoi is alive!

«Even though Tsoi has been gone for a quarter of a century,

He is in every pack of cigarettes,

In the star we call the Sun,

And in the changes we await.»

I was once given the idea to draw Viktor Tsoi as a Transformer, and here we see the result.

Overall, I like the result :3

Now I'm also thinking of drawing Khoy, i.e., Yuri Klinskikh, as a Transformer ;3 But I have no idea when I'll get around to it 😅

Tsoi exhibition in Saint Petersburg

As someone who has been a fan for years I had no idea that Tsoi was actually an artists and went to art school. The painting I have been thinking about the most recently is his final work of art, of a man driving. As many may know, Tsoi tragically died in a car crash in 1990 at the age of 28. The last painting he ever created was him driving a car which terrifyingly foreshadows the future. I’ve honestly been thinking a lot about predestination recently and can’t help but think that maybe deep down he knew about the events that would take place.
