A lot of what I enjoy in fiction makes sense when you know I watched The Lion King basically every day between the ages of three and five but it makes even more sense when you know that the VHS of The Lion King I would watch also had a preview for Pocahontas on it, featuring the titular heroine throwing herself bodily on top of John Smith to keep her father from killing him,
