If we had places around here to buy locally farmed and slaughtered animals I totally would, but we don’t. And beyond how the animals are treated, the chemicals they pump into them seems like something worth avoiding, haha
that's why i mentioned buying organic, which is more expensive, but if you care enough then it seems like you wouldn't really care about spending the extra money.
i dunno, i just think it's really dumb, especially since you need protein supplements to be vegan, at least, and you'd probably need some to get through vegetarianism.
proof that you're supposed to eat animal products, including meat.
