TRUFFLES UNEARTHED at Vasse Felix, Margaret River (aud160 per person). Menu on last pic. Favourite courses were the squid, scallop (mine was cooked - the sauce was so sweet) and cheesecake. The food and wines were paired really well. Every dish was creamy and rich - it was a pity there wasn’t any acidity to offset against the richness. Was really surprised that ‘greens’ in the fatty toothfish course was spring onions in oil.
