almost two hours later..

what the fuCK happened??

You know who else is a badass?

Dean Winchester. The human.

We all know that the human Dean Winchester would've easily won that fight against Cole. Because let's face it, Cole is, just like the regular Dean, only a human. He's not even a hunter.

So no, the fighting scene didn't make me go Damn. I really love demon Dean. I really liked it, don't get me wrong. And Jensen's acting in that scene was great. The constant smirking and smiling and the delicate way he moves his hands and arms.

It looked nothing like the human Dean.  

So I liked the scene. But it didn't make me fall in love with the character. The side that I've already come to love and get fascinated by in demon Dean is not the badass-one. It's the other one. The one that makes him such an interesting character.

The delicacy. That tiny bit of good left in him

His body is laden with poisonous blood and darkness where there used to be a golden soul. And still he sees evil where evil is.

He killed a man because he was a misogynist assbutt who tried to warrant cheating for men exclusively.  

He sat down alone with a drink, tinkering on a piano while questioning what he really is. He tries so hard with Sammy to show confidence and absolute certitude but he didn't kill a man until he was told to. He didn't make his choice to go complete dark side until the option was voiced to him. He's had plenty of chances to kill Sam but yet he just keeps talking about it.

I loved that bit where he sits by the piano. It shows that he has more depth as a character. He's terrifying and cute, sure. But here he is also contemplative.

Here he is more than big muscles and good hair.
