Tomorrow’s Live! From Mt. Crested Butte Free Concert Series featuring: Trout Steak Revival
Get stoked as we conclude our Live! from Mt. Crested Butte Free Concert Series with Colorado’s own Trout Steak Revival. Kick off your shoes and bring your lawn chairs as we get down during our last concert of the summer!
How did the band start? The band has been together for about five years, though the current configuration of band members have been around since around 2012. We’ve released three albums, including our most recent album, “Brighter Every Day,” which was produced by our friend Chris Pandolfi of the Infamous Stringdusters
What has been the biggest accomplishment as a band? The band’s biggest accomplishment thus far has been winning the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, which was a huge honor! The band also won an Emmy award for providing the soundtrack to a Rocky Mountain PBS web-based documentary, "Great Ingredients.”
Have you played in Crested butte before? We’ve played in Crested Butte only once last October, and we are really excited to get back and play at the Live! from Mt Crested Butte Free Concert Series this year. We hope to return during the winter or sometime in the near future and play at the Performing Arts Center.
Where has been your favorite places to perform while in Colorado? We’ve been very fortunate to play in a lot of great festivals and venues this past year, including the Bluebird Theater in Denver, the Boulder Theater, Pagosa Folk and Bluegrass, Telluride Bluegrass, Strings Music Fest in Steamboat, and even Red Rocks this summer!
