So I had a small break but now I’m back (I may post some images of my holiday in Germany). We have now created our pattern for our trousers and we have also chosen the fabrics. We went with a Herringbone and a floral pattern, for the lining and pockets. Although we have a pattern i think we may still make some small adjustments. Oh and the foot and hands aren’t mine.

For the images on Side 1 I wanted them to be a simple as possible to shadow the dressmaking pattern images, which have to be as plain and accurate as possible in order for many different users to understand...
When generating my images on Illustrator I wanted to include the blue colour used throughout the page and for them to be instantly and easily recognisable as trousers and trouser patterns, increasing the awareness (if one was not yet aware) that it was an intruction sheet for making trousers/my design process.

When doing my research I came across on some of the patterns was a 'quick conversion' measurement length and/or chart...

I wanted to add a conversion aspect into my side 1 because often things have to be changed quickly and (obviously) correctly during the design process, and the quick conversion rule reflects this.
