The night right after my uncle's funeral, my family and his went to visit his grave but his wife stayed behind and asked for someone to stay with her. I volunteered. While we waited, my aunt told me shes much too afraid to even visit his grave, and she feels like this is something wrong that she couldn't control. I told her it was completely ok to not do that at all. Afterwards I reflected and worried it was the wrong thing to say, I just would like to know. What would you have said in my place?
I think you did perfectly okay. Many people handle death and things surrounding it in different ways, and I see no reason why she should have to force herself to go if she fears it, though I do feel it may be a good thing for her in the future to visit his grave and confront that fear. At the same time, if itās not something that weighs on her and if that is simply how she was coping and was able to find peace, then I suppose thereās no need.
If anything I suggest keeping an ear out and if it ever comes up again, perhaps offer to go with her? It may be easier for her to confront this when itās not so fresh and thereās not as much pressure.

my first EVER oc was a parrot, when I was a tiny baby. I drew baby comics with him in it. He was a sassy parrot and they were really embarrassing comicsĀ
My first legit/human oc was a really embarrassingĀ āpsychoā character that got better developed through the years and now heās got a big backstory with family connections that got big backstories and its all sciency but I havenāt done anything with him in a LONG timeĀ

Most of what I have to choose from are really lame boys. Like a demon from the 50s who tries to be gangster but heās actually a crybaby, and a detective who is a monster disguised as a human. I like those two a lotĀ

hmmmmā¦.. oh man just one? Kiel is a really important one to me. Probably my second OC of all time! Heās a really hot-headed alien that I used to get my anger out. He developed a LOT since I was little, and I feel like he grew up along with me. Though I havenāt thought about him in YEARS

Uummā¦ I had this OC that I based around myself, though honestly I canāt remember her name. She was a normal human in a strange world with strange friends, but was always quirky and generally not a very rounded character woops

I used to RP with my friends in this whole huge world I created. A big land with tons of characters, and my friends would just jump into an area and rp in a new culture with economic troubles or a place with a bunch of monsters.
