Sharing a Sandwich with two Trilobites
Hey… it’s a shame we never got to meet you.
I’m not sure if you would have liked us, we probably would have done some bad things to you, put you in cages and dissected you.
There are a lot of lovely beings on this planet that I would have liked to be friends with, if only time didn’t separate us.
You didn’t do anything wrong, and you are gone. We have done everything wrong, and we are still here, for now.
I hope that we will stick around. Or at least whoever comes after us will want to share their version of a sandwich. By the way, how are you enjoying that?
