One, two, three… three separate cakes for her birthday, and it wasn’t because of the amount of people she invited, but that there was one that would surely disrespect the first two before Pansy ever got to touch them. It was perhaps a youth trauma; Millicent had eaten half of her cake and spread the rest of it across her own face and robes, they were just children and at the same time something Pansy would never let Millicent forget.
Now the big reunion’s day was there, Pansy’s fifteenth birthday celebration. She had visited enough stores to pick her dress and finally she had decided to wear a beautiful green design from a catalogue, her hair was perfectly held by a silver jewel, leaving her face clear to show off a soft make up that fit her so well; there was nothing but perfection when she looked into the mirror.
Everything was ready, and she had decided to accommodate everything in the garden as she did when she was a child, after all her mother had managed to turn their garden into a colorful place, every night some of her flowers glowed in beautiful colors as result of the magic performed on them, and the garden lights kept everything slightly illuminated, it was simply a beautiful view and she had spent many nights wanting to sleep under the stars, if she had only been allowed to. She smiled, cheering herself up, now the place was going to witness one of the most important days in her life.
She sat on the garden, admiring the view, imagining how the reunion would go on, and yet trying to convince herself not to be over excited, she had to behave, she had to act everything natural, yet she knew that in the moment he walked in everything would change; Draco was special to her, not for his money or his lineage, but there was something about him she adored, she had already set to be with him at least as his friend, but she wasn’t sure if he had noticed, she couldn’t tell if he ever felt something, for she couldn’t swear if he knew about love yet.
She heard the fireplace; it would take no time for the first guest to be taken to the garden by Hessel, their female-house elf. Pansy tried not to, but for a second she concentrated in the sounds; she could hear the elf speaking, steps and the garden door being opened, she turned and her eyes met him instantly as if he had appeared on time thanks to her thoughts. Pansy smiled as she stood up, standing for a second before she walked towards him. “You’re the first.”She commented softly to Draco as she approached.
