"Please, don't close the book..I'll miss you."
"I thought I could feel your touch, sometimes in my dreams. I even thought I could see your face. But this all feels as if it has been planned, for.. you are out there, and I am forever in here." There is nothing more to do, other then go on reading what he has to say, this, this character, this man- who somehow has caught your heart from paper pages. "We've fallen in love- and isn't it just wonderful, but.. the inevitable must happen. You'll finish, and I will be but blackness. I don't want it to end, I never wanted it to end.. as soon as I truly fell in love with everything about you, the way you smile, the way you frown, your eyes- oh how they shine, your cheeks moist from tears shed."
Whispering in your head you could practically hear his words like smooth chocolate, feel the kindness in them. But soon, you thought.
"Oh, if only you had truly seen me, would you love me then."
As if replying to you, you read on in your book, your paradise.
"Oh, but.... I feel as though I know you so. As though, you are mine. Will be mine, forever...I've seen you in a dream, how many times I do not know..." The voice faded out,
"But, oh.... you'll be done soon, and well..... I suppose, in my own way I can look forward to falling in love with you all over again. I can look forward to learning who you are, how you feel once more. We could be together, forever, and never."
"Oh, love don't cry, no, please.. do not shed any tears over me." Rain began to pour around him, drenching his black hair, soaking the clothes he wore.
"Your tears feel like the end.. and the end.. it -"
