Initially, he had called her name upon seeing her from behind and failed to receive a reply. While approaching, the debate as to whether she simply hadn’t heard him or was taking school rivalry quite literally sifting through his mind, his keen gaze had noticed the earbuds looped over her shoulders. Not generally one to impose interruptions, Kuroo had to color himself curious now that he was in Nariko’s line of sight. “You seem really into it, so it must be pretty good.”

“Oh! Actually, Nariko-san, I heard the third-years- you know, Kuroo-san, Kai-san, and Yaku-san. I heard them talking about what COLLEGES they’re gonna go to, or the ones that they’re APPLYING to. What about you? What are you thinking? You gonna follow through with volleyball?”

lips  twisted  downwards  ,  tobio  took  on  a  displeased  expression  on  their  visage  .    the  other  speaks  helpful  advice  ,  but  the  setter  finds  it  hard  to  conceptualize  in  their  mind  .    unafraid  to  ask  questions  ,  they  ask  for  clarification  :    ❝    C - COULD  YOU  EXPLAIN  THAT  AGAIN  ?    ❞         /    @trickspiked  shined  a  light  !  !
