      “really ?  what kind of plans ?”  bracken asks, genuinely curious. in his home country, the holiday was spent remembering the people that passed away. most of his memories of the night itself involve busy airports; the next two evenings were always spent in the cemetery, listening to his sisters and mom tell stories about their dad. “most americans celebrate halloween with costume parties and trick-or-treating and stuff like that right ?”

      “you absolutely are,” bracken agrees, grinning up at erica fondly. “now, miss badass, would you kindly help me up ?”  despite getting his ass kicked around, he’s sort of enjoying this. he likes spending time with his werewolf  ( and like hell if he’s used to that yet )  friends, and the self defense training is useful with the general weirdness of beacon hills. “and would you please remember some of us are squishier and more bruiseable than others ?”
