And Now For Something Completely Different: please, if you are able, pray for my husband and my BIL (& his fiancé). Their parents are having an absolutely reprehensible extinction event and the financial abuse and emotional and psychological trauma my BIL is dealing with right now is just ... beyond the pale. Please pray that God will clear a path for him that allows him to become completely financially severed from their parents in the easiest, smoothest, quickest way possible. Pray that God touches these hearts in such a way that will allow them to do just one right thing by their son(s).

You know you've found the right one when you ask 'what personality traits do you value the most in others?' and the response is, "I dunno, your ability and willingness to inflict emotional pain on others is pretty baller ..."

I dunno, man ... sometimes I think about the fact that my husband plays Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself" on the station he produces for when they have air time to fill because he knows I love that song and even if they're playing it when there's no earthly way I'd be in a position to listen to it ... that I sometimes hear it playing when I'm on my way to work in the morning ... idk, man, I just ... I think that's love, you know what I mean?
