I looooooove the historical setting and gothic genre. Like, this is my bread and butter right now. Hey sorry I just wanted to let you know that the demo breaks if you choose the Either option for romance 💔

Damn 😅 This bug must be ancient. My bad, I made my alpha testers templates to skip the character creator so I didn't catch it before. Don't worry, this option doesn't lock anything, just randomizes a character. I see that's not the only thing I grandfathered in... well, it's time for better looking CC anyway.

I fixed it on my end. I'll be updating the demo today and maybe I can throw in a CW list in there as well, since I don't think the vote is going to swing now.

Just read the demo and can't wait for more. Are you planning for the game to be standalone or a series?

🤔 I'm not planning anything until the first draft is finished. But the way my outline is looking, there is room for a sequel.

After the dust settles, there is still plenty to explore about your new relationships and MC's situation. This game will focus only on MC's time at the estate and trust me, this will be enough.

Earlier when outlining the major beats I tried to have MC return to London and it was terribly distracting. I'd need to add all these scenes that will flesh MC's life out properly and make sure you aren't just waiting to return and it would be such a change from the first part of the game it could be another book entirely.

There will be multiple endings planned so it'll take me some time to outline. After I finish this book, which will most likely have 15 chapters, I'll take a break with another WIP and do some work, in breaks, to track all the relevant variables and make sure all or at least some endings will get a spot.

hi I was just wondering if we as men can have a chance to appear much more feminine maybe later in the book? Like maybe even try on dresses.

I had a crossdressing choice already coded but because it would act similar to transness (you pass and that's that) I ended up scrapping it. That's not the appeal.

So, I have a scene or two in mind (with Anthy). It's a criminal offense in this setting, but well, you are a criminal and you should be able to do risky, exciting things. That's the point.

I had a whole vision for crossdressing but that'd have to wait for when I dust off 80-90s setting.
